Pine Point Self-guiding Trail

Location: Whiteshell Provincial Park
Difficulty: Moderate
Distance: 5.4km (short loop)/8.2km (side trip to Viburnum Falls)
Ecosystem types: Boreal Shield, Rapids

This moderate hike along the Whiteshell River gives hikers magnificent views of the river and three sets of rapids along its length (Pine Point Rapids, Acorn Falls and Viburnum Falls). A warm up shack and picnic area are located approximately 3km into the trail with great views of Pine Point Rapids.
