A stunning and challenging trek through the forests along the Ochre River. A number of backcountry campsites, steep ascents/ descents and river crossings are located along the trail, which leads you through a rugged portion of Riding Mountain National Park where solitude and wildlife are to be expected. Winter users can book Cairn's Cabin, located at the approximate half-way point, for overnight use by contacting park staff.
