The Cabin Lake trail is a moderate hike that begins with a short walk through the forest to an open water marsh and beaver dam with which you walk along the edge of. You then climb up on to a rock outcrop overlooking a cattail marsh with interpretive signs. The single lane trail continues through the boreal forest with some short climbs up to rock outcrops. The trail ends at Cabin Lake where back country campsites are located. Portage your canoe down the trail and there are more campsites further along Cabin Lake.
